Beyond nine lives
Longevity medicines for cats
Cats age too quickly.
By the time most people notice their cat is getting older, it’s already too late to intervene. Age-related decline has set in: arthritis, cognitive changes, loss of mobility, and a drop in quality of life. This isn’t just heartbreaking: it’s unnecessary.
At The Cat Health Company, we believe aging is a biological process that can be slowed, paused, or even reversed.
We’re building the first longevity medicines for cats.
In silico strategies for feline longevity
Through computational modeling, machine learning algorithms, and in silico prediction, we are designing and optimising evidence-based medicines that address the molecular mechanisms of aging in cats.
Why cats?
Cats are family. Yet while human medicine has made huge strides, our cats are still underserved. Most medications focus on symptoms, not the root causes of aging.
We’re changing that.
By treating the biology of aging itself, we aim to delay disease onset, extend healthy lifespan and improve quality of life in senior cats.
Cats are a unique model for human aging
We believe cats deserve more, and that solving aging in cats will help us solve it everywhere.
Shared environment
They share our homes, lifestyles, and many diseases of aging.
Faster discovery
Their shorter lifespans allow us to see effects faster than in human trials.
Broader applications
Research in cats may help pave the way for broader applications, in both veterinary and human medicine.
